At Uptown Playaround we aim to better the community we serve and live in by creating partnerships with other likeminded people who care about our neighborhood and our neighbors.

The Birthdays Project In that spirit, we are excited to begin The Birthdays Project. The purpose of the program is to give great birthday parties to children who would not otherwise have them. Focusing on children living in foster homes and in shelters Uptown Playaround will host a party once a month celebrating a room full of birthdays. Eligible children with a birthday that falls in the current month will be invited to a celebration in their honor. The Birthday Project parties will be held to the same high standard as any other Uptown event, but facilitated by members of the community who share our vision.
